What Do Ticks Look Like?
If you wonder what do ticks look like, here is a short description of these pests:
They are small external parasites which may have a hard outer shell made of chitin or a soft outer shell.
They are flat, round or oval, and are about the size of a poppy seed and have six legs(when a nymph) and they are the size of a small kernel of corn and have eight legs (when an adult).
Their colour can be brown or black, sometimes reddish, and they become gray when they have eaten a lot.
Their head is much smaller as compared to their abdomen.
And here are some pictures of ticks.
